Technical LAN Support
Included in this service is technical support for a district’s file server, workstations, network operating system, and printers.
MHRIC trained technicians provide subscribing districts with unlimited telephone support, as well as on-site diagnosis and problem resolution to ensure high productivity and minimum downtime for computer networks. MHRIC staff can also assist in identifying needed upgrades and equipment modifications to keep LANs functioning smoothly.
The Technical LAN Support service provides:
- Assistance from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday-Friday.
- Unlimited Help Desk support.
- On-site technical support on MHRIC-installed hardware and applications.
- Training for a district-designated systems operator.
This service is available to all districts. Districts do not need to participate in any other Mid-Hudson Regional Information Center service to be eligible. An evaluation of the district-owned network is required for eligibility.
